Operating in a highly regulated and interdependent environment, the facility required extensive grid modernization and substation upgrades without disrupting ongoing operations. To support this, our Project Controls team implemented a fully customized service approach, beginning with the deployment of an Integrated Master Program Schedule (IMPS) comprising over 25,000 activities across a decade-long timeline.

Working within a dynamic program, our team managed a diverse portfolio of electric distribution and substation projects. These included wildfire hardening initiatives, pole replacements, underground cable upgrades, and the installation of critical substation components such as transformer banks, circuit breakers, switches, and relays to ensure long-term system stability and resilience.

To increase transparency and operational alignment, we developed a custom reporting dashboard using Power Apps and Power Automate. These automated workflows provide real-time insights, streamline cross-functional communication, and support faster decision-making. The system pulls data directly from Salesforce scheduling inputs and internal authorization tables, enabling the tracking of nearly 400,000 operations with greater accountability.

This robust reporting and analytics infrastructure empowered contract scheduling and planning teams to manage complexity while maintaining full visibility over deliverables.
