Construction Technology Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Technology Manager who operates at the intersection of construction expertise and digital innovation. You will lead client engagements end-to-end, serving as both a trusted advisor and hands-on problem solver. Working closely with project teams, executives, and technology stakeholders, you will identify inefficiencies, implement practical solutions, and drive measurable improvements across construction operations. This role requires a balance of leadership, technical fluency, and real-world construction experience to deliver impactful, scalable results.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead client engagements from initial assessment through implementation and ongoing optimization
- Evaluate construction processes, workflows, and existing systems to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Recommend and implement technology solutions, with a focus on PMIS platforms, including system configuration, customization, and optimization to align with project and organizational needs
- Align technology initiatives with client business objectives to improve project delivery, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Serve as the bridge between field operations, project management teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure practical, adoptable solutions
- Drive successful system implementations, including configuration, testing, and rollout
- Develop and deliver structured training programs to support user adoption and long-term value realization
- Lead change management efforts, helping organizations adapt processes and behaviors alongside new technology
- Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track impact and continuous improvement
- Stay informed on emerging construction technologies and industry best practices, bringing forward innovative ideas to clients
Job Requirements
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in construction, with a background in general contracting (project management, operations, or field leadership), or consulting focused on construction, infrastructure, or capital projects
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, from pre-construction through closeout
- Demonstrated experience with construction technology platforms and tools
- Hands-on experience configuring and implementing PMIS platforms to support project delivery and operational workflows
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, field-ready solutions
- Proven experience leading client-facing engagements or projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
