Program Reporting & Analytics Specialist
Job Description
We’re looking for a strong analytics professional to support the Major / Large Load Program, with primary ownership of a cross-functional Excel tracker used to monitor progress across teams and regions. This role sits at the center of program coordination and reporting. You’ll attend working sessions with project teams, gather and reconcile inputs (schedule, cost, and recovery plans), maintain the master tracker, and turn that information into clear, timely reports for program leadership. Expect a mix of structured recurring work and urgent ad-hoc requests. This is an advanced Excel role, not a dashboarding or visualization position quite. Accuracy, structure, and responsiveness matter most.
Job Responsibilities
- Owning and maintaining a master Excel-based program tracker spanning multiple teams and regions
- Attending cross-functional meetings and working sessions to:
- Capture updates (progress, catch-back plans, schedule changes)
- Coordinate follow-ups and information gathering
- Integrating inputs from P6 schedules, cost data, and team updates into a coherent tracker
- Producing routine program reports and ad-hoc analyses based on leadership requests
- Ensuring data consistency, version control, and clarity across reporting outputs
- Identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize the tracker and reporting process
- Helping lay the foundation for a larger program reporting team over time
Job Requirements
- A few years of experience in analytics, reporting, project controls, or consulting
- Advanced Excel proficiency (required)
- Comfort coordinating across multiple teams and translating conversations into structured data
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience working with schedule and cost information (P6 exposure is a plus)
- Background in analytics, engineering, business, economics, or similar
- Consulting experience is a plus in utilities
- Minimal focus on visualization; this role is about structure, accuracy, and execution
